Again, I know this is necro what ever it's called. But I've been using the DIIIROS Editor for awhile now and I love it! Have no issues, for the most part.

I just realized there is a Diablo 3 Vanilla editor here too. Don't know why or how I missed that. So I downloaded it. I'm still trying to get a better understanding of this website and of all this, so I'm not sure if this is the right page or forum or whatever to be posting this but here it is:
  • I get a popup on my laptop when I try to open my extracted folder that says I forgot to decompress the first layer and to use BSD/HORIZON to decrypt both layers.
    • For who ever reads this, that alone might be enough information to tell you what is wrong and what I need to do, but if not, here is what I've got to work with:
    • I open HORIZON and click through to my games and select Diablo 3.
    • I drag it to the center and click on CONTENTS, then EXTRACT ALL
    • I extract ALL files to a folder path DIABLOIII>Extracted (just like I do for the ROS Editor)
    • After that, normally I just open the editor and open my extracted folder to start working away, at least that's how I do it with the ROS editor.
So what am I missing? And I'm sorry if it's painfully easy or obvious. I downloaded the DIII.SaveEdit_1.2.15.102 which I know says it's in the Beta status. Is that the reason and I just need to either get an older version or wait for the new one, or is there something more?

On the Downloads page under the download link for the version I've downloaded, (phew a lot of downloads there,) it says the recommended download is the same one as the one above it. Both version numbers match up at least.

More Additional Information
I know the page says read the documentation and follow the directions for decrypting. But I'm as slow as a box of rocks when it comes to these kind of things. I looked through the zip file and didn't see any readme documents, and the other application that says item extractor gives me an error when I run it as well. It says something along the lines of Invalid wire-type usually meaning I've over-written something without truncating (?) or setting the length.

I've read through this post:
https://diiiedit.codeplex.com/discussions/636188
Discussing the same issue it seems but I tried some of that to no avail and the other stuff went over my head.

I've tried to think of every bit of information I could include in this, If you need more just ask and I'll give what I can the best that I can.
