Hello, and good day!
I've looked through previous issues that had mentioned a problem like this, but I have yet to really see a solid resolution...I'm running Windows 10:
I'm currently experiencing issues with being able to select a "folder" when editing; the system is forcing me to select an individual file, instead of allowing me to select my entire "extract" folder from my desktop (or anywhere).
I created a folder on my desktop titled, "extract"; within the "extract" folder, I have (also using Horizon) a "heroes" subfolder, which then contains all of my characters (randomnumbers.dat), and individual files (still under "extract"), "prefs.dat", "account.dat", and "profile.dat". In all of the tutorials I've seen, and how-to's I've read, I'm told to select the FOLDER (which, in my case would be "extract") to begin editing...but, when I'm in the Save Editor and select "File" > "Open", I am then prompted to select a FILE. It will not allow me to select the entire "extract" folder, only individual files. I'm able to select individual files from within my "extract" folder, and the editor brings up my character's name as an option on the tabs list, but when I attempt to save everything, it doesn't transfer the save to all other files withing "extract".
I even went so far as to try a very basic edit to my character (taking her from a level 3 to level 70, with Adventure Mode unlocked), and edited ALL three files I was allowed to access, "prefs.dat", "account.dat", and "profile.dat" (my individual character within the "heroes" folder would not load in the editor) with the same basic lvl 3-70, Adventure mode unlocked...replaced all the files in Horizon, and was still unsuccessful. It was as if I hadn't even bothered to try editing my character at all.
I hope this all made sense, as this is somewhat frustrating! If any screenshots or further explinations are needed, please let me know and I'll get right on it. I appreciate the time taken to look into this! Cheers!
