Saying it didn't answer your question is like saying even though McDonalds has removed the McRib from the menu and no longer serves it, the paper menu you have from 2 years ago still means they can make it.
You can try to get the game to recognize stuff that is no longer in it all day, but at the end of the day, the best quote i can think of was from Farcry 3 "did i ever tell you the definition of insanity?" its doing the same F'in thing over and over, expecting S*** to change".
It didn't really answer my questions, no. I knew that they removed crushing blow from the game, but that doesn't say that the code was removed from the client. It could be that they removed it from the game by removing the affix from the drop tables for items, for all I know./facepalm, whether or not the crushing blow affix remains in the editor, doesn't mean that its still in game.
That said, I've set 8-12% crushing blow on an item, and I've tried it inside GR150, with insufficient DPS to move health bars. I would think that if crushing blows were happening, then I'd see random large drops in mob health pools. Nope.
