I would like to correct the wrongs and help fix this issue.I like this idea but how can you be trusted..
@Whiisperz: Yes giving out gear does seem like a good way to help solve the problem. However even though the ones receiving the items will be grateful they will be confronted by those selling gear even still. Now the issue would still remain because the one selling would still continue to say "The gear you would buy is better". And not everyone will know what to do/or think. Some will always have the urge to try and find something better that what they already have. And that would include buying the guy from others.
This is my solution to try and rid of this problem. If I was to go in either as an individual or with one of you who is going to give out to gear, I could better explain in a greater detail why not to buy the gear and the consequences of which can/will occur.
1st: If you are to buy gear you will only encourage the seller to continue doing as he/she pleases.
2nd: If you have friends that can help you by just putting the items or sets together for you it's safer than giving your money to a random person. Whom you know nothing about. This will help prevent any further problems down the road.
Now if we happen to have some games were we find others that use the editor I would be able(as one that got the editing privilege taken.) Better tell/ explain why they shouldn't sell the gear they bring in from the editor.
-This would help reduce the spread of gear selling. And could also mention to them to read the TOS. If they haven't already.
I'm willing to give this "lobby hopping" idea a good try and see just how far we can go in terms of reducing gear buy/selling.
----------What do you think?

also you should just keep the editor offline for a while because the last time this punishment happened it only lasted 3 hours, no ones going to get a reality check in 3 hours. keep it offline for a few months to be honest
I think I'm with you leaning toward the latter.
